Satellite communications center of the Russian general staff damaged in the Moscow region

After drone strikes on space communications centers in Dubna, Beloomut, and Gus-Khrustalny, the communication systems of two command posts of the Missile Attack Warning System were disrupted and disabled: the main command post in Solnechnogorsk‑7 (call sign "Kvadrat") and the backup command post in Kolomna‑1, Sosnovy Bor (call sign "Shverbot").

Communication channels with the Voronezh and Daryal radar stations, as well as the "KROKUS" communication channel — the system for real-time alerting the country’s leadership of a missile attack — are currently non‑operational.

According to sources, some channels of the mobile radiotelephone communications system "Kavkaz," which provides secure communications between the country’s leadership and the Ministry of Defense with headquarters in combat zones, have also been affected. Alternative communication channels are now being urgently restored. Furthermore, the main link connecting Russia’s leadership with the regions — the "Spetskommutator" and "PM" government long‑distance communications systems — is also out of service.
